OLD TIME FAVORITES .... CUCUMBERS AND ONIONS with Vinegar

1 cup Apple Cider or White Vinegar
1/2 cup Sugar, to taste
1 cup Water
1 thinly sliced onion
1 tsp of Salt
1 English cucumber or 2 medium sized cucumbers


CUCUMBERS and ONION WITH SOUR CREAM SAUCE

1 cup Sour Cream
1 tbl Sugar
2 tbl Cider Vinegar
1/4 tsp White Pepper
Salt and Pepper to taste

With both of these cut your cucumbers thin along with onions.

In a bowl mix the Vinegar, Water & Sugar and then add you cucumbers and onions and salt and pepper to taste

Creamy cucumbers mix in a bowl the Sour Cream, Vinegar and Sugar then add the cucumbers and onion and salt and pepper to taste. Place in refrigerator.
