9 cups sifted flour
4 tsp. Cream of tarter
3 cups of sugar
3 cups oleo
3 tsp. Baking soda
1 + 1/2 tsp. Salt
6 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla (to change the flavor, I used 1/2 Lemon. Extract, 1/2 vanilla)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar + oleo and vanilla and than add eggs one by one and mix well.

Sift all dry ingredients together and mix in with the sugar/oleo batter.

You almost have to use your hands at the last.

Than, roll into balls and press down on ungreased baking sheet , than

With a glass that has been greased on the bottom and each time, dip in sugar and press cookie barr down.

Glass only has to be greased once.

Bake @ 375 F for 10-12 minutes.

Makes about 10 dozen.
