2 cups Water
1 ½ cup Sugar
⅔ cup Cider Vinegar
1 ½ tsp ground Ginger
½ tsp ground Cinnamon
Dash of Salt
Dash of ground Cloves
Dash of ground Nutmeg
4 Jalapeno Peppers, sliced
2 lb Sweet Cherries, pitted and coarsely chopped
1 large Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large, heavy saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer until slightly thick and reduce to 4 cups (about 50 minutes), skimming foam from surface of mixture occasionally. Cool; poor into an airtight container. (Mixture will thicken as it cools). Cover and chill.

To serve: place a small dollop of cream cheese on a cracker and top with a small amount of preserves.©
