Crust:
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
3 cups oatmeal

Filling:
12 oz chocolate chips
1 can sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp butter
salt
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:

For Crust:
Cream butter and brown sugar. Add eggs & vanilla and cream some more. Mix together the flour, soda and salt. Add to the creamed mixture. Stir in oatmeal..

For Filling:
Place chocolate chips, milk, butter, salt and vanilla in a double boiler until melted.

Assembly:
Place ⅔ of crust mixture into 10x15-inch pan. Pat down. Pour on filling and top with remaining crust mixture.

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cut into bars.
