4-5 c. Rhubarb
1 3/4c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 T. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cut fruit into small pieces. Place in oblong Pyrex cake pan. Mix 3/4 c. of the sugar, the butter, salt, flour, baking powder, and milk together. Spread over the fruit. Mix the remaining sugar, cornstarch, and salt together. Pour over the batter. Pour the boiling water over it all. Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
