4 slices bacon (cut into small pieces)
1 medium green pepper (chopped)
1 medium onion (chopped)
1 can (28 oz.) pork & beans
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in large skillet on medium heat until crisp; stirring frequently. remove bacon; drain on paper towels. Set aside.

Add pepper and onion to drippings in skillet; cook and stir until tender. Stir in pork and beans, barbeque sauce and brown sugar; simmer 10 minutes.

Top with crumbled bacon
