1 C. Potato Water (from boiled potato)
½ C. All -Purpose Flour
1 Potato boiled and mashed
2 C, Rye Flour
1 T Salt
1 pkg Yeast
2 C Water or Buttermilk

Boil Together
½ C. Sugar
¼ C. Shortening
½ C. Molasses
¼ C. Orange peel finely grated

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the first seven ingredients together in a large bowl, let rest until double in size. While bread batter is rising, mix the remaining ingredients together in a saucepan and boil just until sugar is dissolved.

Cool and put into doubled bread mixture . Work this well with 5-6 C of flour to make a dough that doesn't stick to the board. Form into 2 or 3 medium size loaves and let rise until double. Bake in 375º oven for 1 hour.
