2 c shortening
3 c sugar
small can pumpkin

4 eggs well beaten
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp baking soda
3 1/2 c flour
1/2 cups nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
cream shortening, sugar and pumpkin together

add rest and mix

bake at 350 50-55 mins

makes 3 loaves
