1 large European Cucumber - sliced
1/2 cup sour cream OR plain greek yogurt
1 onion - thinly sliced
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. fresh dill - chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Spread cucumber and onion slices on a platter, one layer. Season with salt and let rest for 30 minutes, pat dry.

Stir together sour cream, sugar, vinegar, and dill in a large bowl. Add cucumbers and onions, refrigerate overnight.

When I made this I discovered if you let this set overnight it gets very watery. The second time I made it I made the sourcream mixture and let that sit overnight and salted the cucumbers the next day. The cucumbers stayed crisp and the sourcream mixture was not watery. You can do either one you desire.
