Sugar Cut-out Cookies Recipe

cup butter
cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 cups flour
tsp baking powder
tsp salt

1. Cream together butter and sugar.
2. Add egg, milk and vanilla.
3. Mix in flour, baking powder and salt. Chill dough.
4. Roll dough no thicker than inch on floured cloth. Cut with cookie cutters and place on
ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake at 425. Check after 5 minutes. **The baking time will vary due to the thickness of the dough
and the shape of the cookies, so watch carefully.
