6 slices of bacon chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced (or more based on your taste)
1 large head cabbage, chopped
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the bacon in a large pot over medium-high heat until crisp. Place bacon on a paper towel lined plate or bowl. Reserve 2 tbsp of bacon grease and discard the rest. In the same pot return the 2 tbsp of grease and heat over medium high heat, place onion and cook until soft (roughly about 4 minutes) add in garlic and continue to cook for 1 minute. Stir in cabbage and continue to cook 4-5 minutes. Add in salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder mix well reduce heat to low, cover and allow to simmer stirring occasionally for 30 minutes. Just before serving dice up bacon and mix into the pan. Serve.
