20 Chicken wings split and tips discarded
⅓ Cup brown sugar
3 Cloves garlic, minced
Teaspoon fresh ginger
1 Cup of water
3 Tablespoon of honey
2 Tablespoon of soy sauce
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
Cajun Seasoning
Salt and Pepper

Preheat the oven to 375F. Arrange the chicken wings on a baking sheet. Bake until crisp, 35 to 45 minutes. Transfer the wings to a baking dish. Mix together the brown sugar, garlic, ginger and 2 cups of water, honey and soy sauce in a saucepan over medium-high heat, bring to a boil. Whisk together the cornstarch and cup of water in a small bowl, stir into the sauce mixture until thickened, pour over the chicken wings to coat. Return wings to oven and bake until the sauce is bubbling and the chicken is no longer pink at the bone and the juices run clear 15 to 20 minutes.

Wow, everything happened so fast, and before I knew it I was actually standing in the airport getting ready to board a flight with my kids and grandkids standing by me, all in tears. I was getting ready to face yet another fear leaving my kids 1200 miles behind. I had so many things going through my mind, I cried all the way on the plane and I had no shame.
