¾ cup butter, softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
2 tbsps. water
2 tsps. vanilla
⅔ cup all purpose flour
¾ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 cups Quaker oats
1½ cups raisins or chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar, eggs, water and vanilla together on medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Combine flour, soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in oats and raisins. Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets. Press flat for crisp cookies, leave mounded for chewy cookies. Bake 350ºF for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Don't overbake. Makes 36 cookies.
