1 cup shortening
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
tsp. baking soda
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Mold into small balls and flatten with a fork. Bake in 375F oven for about 20 minutes.
