1 to 2 pounds thin sliced deli ham
8 swiss cheese slices
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup prepared mustard
1 tablespoon poppy seeds
1/2 cup soft margarine or soft butter
8 hamburger buns

Directions:
Directions:
Combine onions, mustard, poppy seeds, and soft margarine.
Spread mixture inside of buns.
Layer ham and cheese on buns.
Spread small amount of butter mixture on top of sandwiches.
Bake at 350 F. for 15 minutes or slightly browned.

Recipe originated from Fountain Point Resort in Michigan near Traverse City.
I usually double the butter mixture to make extra sandwiches since it keeps well in the refrigerator. My longtime friend Lila Kilcoyne gave me this recipe.
