2 head dill, put in few pickling spices. In the top of each jar put a scant ¼ tsp powdered alum. 1 red pepper, 1 clove of garlic 3 cups of water 1 C vinegar ¼ C Salt This should be poured over pickles hot. Screw lid on tight - eat in 3 weeks
