3 Cups Self-Rising Flour
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
1 Cup Buttermilk or Whole Milk
1/2 Cup Raisins (or fruit of your choice) (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º.

Mix dry ingredients, cut in butter finely and add fruit if desired. Add milk and stir up quickly. Turn onto a floured board and knead lightly turning only once or twice. Place on a greased cooking sheet. Pat into a 9" circle and cut/score into 8 pieces.

Bake for 12-15 minutes.
