1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 16 oz. can cream style corn
½ c. shredded mild cheddar cheese
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow corn meal
4 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar, mixing well; add eggs, one at a time. Add creamed corn and cheese and mix well. Stir flour and corn meal together with baking powder and salt; add to corn mixture. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured 7x11 pan. Place pan in preheated 350º oven and immediately reduce to 300º. Bake for 1 hour.

This is especially indulgent served warm with butter and honey for breakfast and is good cold too. It is an excellent accompaniment with chili.
