2 1/2 Cups Flour
1/4 lb Margarine
3 Eggs
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
3/4 Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Anise Extract

Optional: 1/3 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.

Mix all ingredients with a fork. Form into large ball. Cut in half. Shape into two 11"x5" ovals. Flatten slightly. Bake 20 (if too sticky or soft, bake 5-10 minutes more) Remove from oven, cut into slices. Place slices on cookie sheet and return to oven for 10 minutes on each side.

Store loosely covered. If covered tightly, they become soggy.
