1c. (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
¾ c. granulated sugar
¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. grated orange peel (approximately 1 orange)
1¼ c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. Quaker Oats
½ tsp. salt
1 pkg. (12 oz) butterscotch morsels
½ tsp. ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375º. Beat butter (or margarine), sugar, eggs, vanilla, orange peel until creamy. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; mix well. Gradually add to the butter/sugar mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients and mix together. Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 7-8 minutes for a chewy cookie, or 9-10 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
