Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Aunt Alice was a sweet lady, full of energy who, well into her 70’s, ran a small B&B out of her house. She swam daily from about June through Sept. down at 3rd Beach, and was always busy. I remember family gatherings in their backyard out on Walcott. Years ago, from their backyard you could see 1st Beach and the Newport Cliff Walk in the distance. Over the years, houses were built that blocked that view, but the family get-togethers were still one of the highlights of our visits. This recipe was one of the desserts Aunt Alice had for our dinners, and that she fixed for her B&B guests.
