1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. ground walnuts
½ c. butter, softened
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
⅔ c. red raspberry preserves

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except preserves until crumble.
Press two-thirds of mixture in ungreased square pan, 9 X 9 X 2 inches.
Spread with preserves.
Sprinkle with remain crumbs.
Press gently into preserves.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool completely.
Dust with powdered surer.

To cut the bars into triangles, first cut into squares, then cut each square diagonally in half.

For Apricot Linzer Bars: Substitute ground almonds for ground walnuts and apricot preserves for the raspberry preserves.
