1 pound flank steak
1/4 c. corn starch
1/4 c. canola oil
2 t. fresh ginger minced
1 T. Garlic, minced
1/3 c. lite soy sauce
1/3 c. water
1/2 c. dark brown sugar
4 stalks scallions (green part only)

Directions:
Directions:
Slice flank steak against the grain into 1/4 inch thick pieces and add to a ziploc with cornstarch.
Press the steak around in the bag coating with cornstarch.
Add canola oil to frying pan on medium heat.
Add the steak and cook on each side for 1 minute.
Remove steak from pan.
Add ginger and garlic to pan and saute for 10-15 seconds.
Add the soy sauce, water and sugar and let it come to a boil.
Add steak back in and let sauce thicken for 20-30 seconds. If it doesn't thicken, add some cornstarch to 1 T. water to dissolve then add to pan.
Add green onions and cook for another 30 seconds.
Serve immediately.
