6 oz. pkg. semi sweet chocolate chips
c. graham cracker crumbles
⅓ c. butter
c. chopped walnuts

2 c. sifted flour
c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 buttermilk

whip cream Icing-
1 c. heavy cream
2 T. sugar

Melt ⅓ c. chocolate pieces, set aside.

Combine graham cracker crumbles, ⅓ c. butter, walnuts, balance of chocolate pieces, set aside.

Combine flour, with soda and salt, cream in c. butter.

In large bowl, gradually add 1 c. sugar until fluffy, add eggs 1 at a time beating well before adding additional egg. Blend in ⅓ cup melted chocolate and vanilla.

Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

Put into prepared pans. Sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.

Bake at 375 for 30 - 40 minutes.
