2 lb ground beef
1 pkg dry onion soup mix (1/2 oz)
1 c Panko crumbs
3 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp dry mustard
1 pint cranberry jam (sometimes I substitute raspberry, if I can’t find cranberry)
1 1/2 c ketchup
1 tsp garlic powder
14 oz sauerkraut, drained and rinsed
1/2 c water
2/3 c brown sugar

Directions:
Mix first five ingredients, shape into walnut size balls. Arrange in an ungreased 9 x 13 baking pan. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a sauce pan. Simmer 10 minutes. Pour over meatballs. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake 2 hours at 350º. Serves 6-8.
