1 cup of maple syrup
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup of cold water (plus 10 teaspoons of the boiled down mixture) to form a ball.

1 egg - separated
2 Tbsp. of flour or cornstarch
2 cups of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Stir and boil down the maple syrup, butter and sugar until it forms a ball.
(Drop above mixture into cold water until ball forms as in soft stage candy test)


Mix eggs, cornstarch or flour, milk and beat well. Pour into the syrup slowly and stir with a spoon until thick. Pour into a prepared pie crust.
