Uncle Franks Thanksgiving Dressing Recipe

1 loaf of bread

1 onion,

3-4 celery stalks, diced

5 cooked mild sausage (out of casings) crumbled

1 whole clump of garlic, diced

2 apples diced

1 stick of butter, melted (optional)

Salt to taste

Pepper to taste

Poultry season (1 Tablespoon)

Chicken stock

Dice bread and place in bowl

Add diced onions, celery, and garlic

Add sausage (and some drippings)

Add apples

Add melted butter (again optional)

Add salt and pepper

Add enough chicken stock to soak bread (if cooking outside of turkey)

Add to casserole dish

Cover and cook for 1 hour in oven for 1 hour at 385 F
