Brisket - approx. 5 lb..(2nd cut if possible)
2 cans ginger ale
1 package onion soup mix
4 large onions - sliced
5 red potatoes - cut into chunks

Directions:
Directions:
Season brisket with paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder on all sides.

Brown brisket on all sides and then take out of pan.

Pour the ginger ale into the pan.

Add the onion soup mix and stir together.

Put brisket back into the pan.

Add the onion slices on top of the brisket.

Place potatoes around the brisket.

Cover pan. Roast at 350º for 3 hours or until tender. Flip brisket after 1 ½ hours.

Let cool and then slice against the grain.

Brisket shrinks when cooked. Make at least 1/2 lb. per person
