3 Cups Peeled Sliced Fresh Peaches
1 1/2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Butter
3/4 Cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
Pinch of Salt
3/4 Cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Peel and slice peaches. Mix with 1/2 cup sugar. Put butter in deep baking dish (8" square) and set in oven to melt. Stir up batter of 1 cup sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and milk. Pour over melted butter. Do not stir. Place sugared peaches over batter. Bake for 1. hour. Batter will rise to top during baking and be brown and crisp when done.

Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
