1 large bundle of fresh asparagus
6 to 8 slices of bacon
1 stick butter
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. pepper


Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Wash and trim asparagus. Divide asparagus into 6 to 8 bundles. Wrap each bundle in a bacon slice in a spiral from one end to the other. Lay bundles in a casserole dish. In medium saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, soy sauce, garlic salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil. Spoon hot mixture over the bundles. Cover with foil. Bake 30 to 40 minutes, or until bacon is done. You will need to remove the foil at the end so the bacon can crisp up some.
