1 cup light molasses
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
2 Tablespoons butter
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch jelly roll pan. Cook mixture in a 3-quart pan on medium high heat to 270 degrees (soft crack stage). Remove from heat and pour mixture into prepared pan. Let stand 10 minutes or until cool enough to handle. Divide into 3 portions, grease hands and gather one portion into ball. Pull about 10 minutes; until very smooth and satiny and light in color. Twist taffy into rope 1/4-inch in diameter. Cut into 1/2-inch pieces. Repeat with remaining portions. Wrap and store in dry place for up to 2 weeks.
