2 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix together all dry ingredients.
2. Cut in cold butter until mixed together.
3. Add in milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
4. Roll by hand into balls.
5. Bake at 350 until golden brown on top.

Mimi used to make these biscuits in the morning before church. She would place them all on the cookie sheet and would leave them on the counter until we got home. This allowed them to rise, and we baked them once we cooked the remainder of Sunday dinner.
