1 15 oz box Raisin Bran or All Bran cereal
5 c flour
3 c sugar
5 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
4 eggs
1 c cooking oil
1 quart buttermilk
1 c chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in large bowl. In another bowl, beat eggs well. Add cooking oil & buttermilk. Add liquids to the dry ingredients. Mix well, but only until blended. Store batter in tightly covered container in fridge. Batter keeps up to 6 weeks. Bake muffins 15-20 minutes @ 400

I think this is the recipe Aunt Jeanne brought over for us when Chris was born. It was a wonderful gift for new parents. It can be mixed in an ice cream pail.
