3 c. flour
3 eggs
½ c. milk added to ¼ c. melted butter so milk gets warm

Directions:
Mix all together to form a pretty hard dough, then roll out as thin as possible with rolling pin. Cut into rectangle shapes. Fry in deep fat.
This is a Mennonite dish served together with watermelon in summer. A bite of roll kuchen alternating with a bite of watermelon. When our grandkids were little, they enjoyed helping Grandma cut the shapes, but I placed them into the hot fat for fear of them getting burned.
