Brenda's Orange Cheesecake Recipe

1/2 cup flour
3 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp orange peel
4 Tbsp melted butter
1 egg yolk

3 8 oz pkgs cream cheese
1 tsp orange peel, make sure to measure it
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1/4 cup orange juice

2 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp cornstarch
1 cup Florida orange juice
2 Tbsp orange marmalade
1 Tbsp orange liqueur or orange juice
If you want, can add a cup of mini-chocolate chips to the cake mix.

Crust: Mix all ingredients together and put into bottom of a spring form pan, press with fingers.
Bake at 400 F for 7 minutes or till golden brown and let cool.

Cheesecake: Beat all ingredients in a bowl with mixer, add eggs last cause yo don't want to over beat them.
Mix until creamy but not too long. Pour onto crust and bake in 375 F oven for 30 -35 minutes, center should
be a little jiggly.

Topping: While cake is cooling, combine all ingredients in saucepan, cook and stir till bubbly, about 2 minutes more,
stirring constantly. Then pour onto cake.

Cool and enjoy
