1 3/4 cup flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup oil
2 tsp. vanilla

1 cup BOILING WATER

Directions:
PREPARE BAKING PANS FIRST. 2 - 8" or 9" (grease and flour before filling)

In a large bowl combine the flour, sugar, cocoa, B.P. and B.S.
Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla and beat with and electric mixer for approx. 2 minutes.
Pour boiling water and mix just until combined.
Pour batter evenly into pans.

BAKE at 350 degress 30 - 35 minutes
turn cakes out onto racks and let cool completely before frosting.
