Bran Muffins Recipe

Cream together:
1 stick butter softened
1½ c. sugar
2 eggs

Sift together:
2½ c. flour
2½ t. baking soda

Mix well adding:
1 c. buttermilk

1 c. bran cereal (Kelloggs© All Bran) Bran Bud
1 c. boiling water
Let set 1 minute to soften then add to mixture and stir thoroughly.

Next fold in:
2 c. cereal (Kelloggs© All Bran) Bran Buds
½ t. salt
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Mix well

Spoon mixture into greased muffin tins. Bake at 400º for 15 minutes
