½ c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped pecans
1-1/2 c. plain flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs (save 1 for filling)
1 c. light brown sugar


Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter well, add sugar, 1 egg, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat well, then add vanilla. Spread in greased and floured pan. Sprinkle nuts over this. Mix brown sugar and egg white well. Pour over batter and bake for 25 minutes in 350 degree oven.
