¾ c. self-rising flour
1 c. brown sugar
¼ c. melted shortening
2 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. chopped dates


Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, combine with sugar. Add melted shortening to beaten eggs and combine with dry ingredients. Add nuts and dates. Turn into well-greased 7x11x2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cut while hot and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
