3 c. sugar
2 sticks oleo
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
½ c. Crisco
6 eggs
1 c. chopped pecans


Directions:
Directions:
Cream oleo and Crisco. Add sugar, eggs. Beat for 2 minutes. Add flour alternately with milk. Blend in vanilla and pecans. Pour into prepared tube pan and place in 350 degree oven (do not preheat) for 1-1/4 hours. This recipe is delicious for a layer cake to be iced with chocolate or coconut frosting. Just omit the pecans.
