1 dozen eggs
2 c. milk
1 T ground mustard
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for garnish on top)
1 pkg cubed ham (16 oz)
12 slices of bread, cut into 1 inch cubes

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9x13 pan. Spread bread cubes, ham and cheese into pan in layers, as you would with lasagna. Mix eggs, milk, salt, pepper and ground mustard in large bowl. Pour egg mixture evenly over bread, ham and cheese. Soak all bread, pressing it down into the egg mixture, make sure all bread is soaked. Top with cheese. Bake in a 350º oven for 1 hour, or until knife inserted comes out clean.

We make this in many variations, sometimes with sausage or with bacon, or a combination! Always a hit and a much requested birthday meal.
