Ingredients:
Ingredients:
12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 sticks butter
1 1/4 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º

For the vanilla extract, I use the Nielson-Massey vanilla bean paste from Madagascar. It's sold in some grocery stores, online, and worth having this secret ingredient in all baking recipes.

melt on low to medium heat the chocolate chips and butter. Set aside to cool.
beat eggs and sugar together
add cooled chocolate mixture
add flour
add vanilla extract

Pour batter into a greased and floured rectangle pan (9x13).
Bake on 350 degrees for 40 minutes. (35 mins yields a fudgy center)

TIPS: I grease the pan using PAM baking spray (it has the butter and flour in it).
I sometimes make two 8 inch square pans instead of the 9x13.
Sometimes I make these in a big hurry and don't cool the chocolate mixture. It doesn't seem to make a difference in the end results whether the chocolate mixture cools or not.

Enjoy!!!!
