¾ cup butter flavoured Crisco
1¼ cups light brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg
1¾ cups flour
1 tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda
1½ cups chocolate chips
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 375ºF. Combine Crisco, sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until blended. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt and baking soda. Beat into mixture at low speed. Stir in chips. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Bake 8 - 9 minutes fir chewy cookies and 11 - 13 minutes for crisp. Let cool. Makes 3 dozen.
