1 lb ground beef
1 lb bacon
1 medium onion, diced
1 48oz-64oz bottle or can of tomato juice
1 T ground mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
pinch of sugar
3 c. of Minute Rice

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef with half of the onion and salt and pepper. Drain and set aside. Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and fry with remaining onion. Drain grease from bacon. Add beef to bacon, then add 4 cups of tomato juice, salt, pepper, ground mustard and pinch of sugar to beef/bacon mixture. Bring to a boil, and stir in 3 cups of minute rice. reduce to simmer and let sit until rice is done, stirring once.

This can be modified to your liking! Add veggies or green pepper for a different flavor. Adjust seasonings to your taste. I like to have a side of green beans with this.
