3½ cups flour
½ teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon yeast
4 egg yolks
12 oz warm beer

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add egg yolks. Mix well until no lumps. Place batter in warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size. Punch down. Dilute with 1/2-1 cup warm beer. Add pinch of salt. Dip fish or vegetables in buttermilk and then in batter. Fry.
