4 lbs ground meat
¼ cup curing salt
1½ tablespoon pepper
2 tablespoons Liquid Smoke
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all together well. Cover and chill for 24 hours. Divide into fourths. Shape into 8 inch logs. Place on 12 x 18 cheesecloth. Roll tight. Tie with string. Place on broiling rack. Cook at 225º for 4-6 hours. Take cheesecloth off. Drain on papers towels. Cool completely and store in refridgerator.
