28 oz. chunky crushed tomatoes, such as Furmano's
6 oz. tomato paste
4 garlic cloves, chopped
2 T. olive oil
½ c. water
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
½ tsp. kosher salt
3 fresh basil leaves, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Combine olive oil, chopped garlic and red pepper flakes in a large skillet and cook over medium-low heat until garlic is golden, about 4 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes and tomato paste and ½ cup water. Add basil and season with salt. Set the heat to medium and simmer, uncovered, until thick, 20 to 25 minutes. Toss with one pound of cooked pasta.
