4 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c milk
8 eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
t tbsp butter
2 (8 oz) packages refrigerated crescent dough sheets
1 to 2 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional)
4 oz thinly sliced deli ham
1 c shredded cheddar cheese
snipped fresh chives fo garnish

1. Preheat oven to 375º F. Line an extra-large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Beat cream cheese in a bowl with an electric mixer 30 seconds. Gradually beat in milk until smooth. Beat in eggs, salt and pepper.
3. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add egg mixture; cook stirring until eggs are scrambled and nearly cooked through. 4 to mins.
4. Unroll 1 dough sheet onto half of prepared baking sheet, with a short side of dough closest to you. Cut 12 horizontal slits on each of the outer 2/3 of dough, leaving center 1/3 uncut.
5. Spread i tbsp Dijon mustard (if using) along center of dough. Top with 1/2 of ham, 1/2 of egg mixture, and 1/2 of cheese.
6. Crisscross dough flaps over filling to form a braid shape.
7. Repeat with remaing dough sheet and fillings.
8. Bake until golden brown, 20 to 2 mins. Garnish with chives
