2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1 teaspoon water
3 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, soda, flour and mix well. Add nuts. Dough will be very stiff. Roll into four, 2 inch logs, wrap and chill 8 hours or freeze. When ready to bake, cut into ¼ inch slices. Bake 10 minutes. (I put dough in a loaf pan to freeze.)
