Ingredients:

1 lb sausage - turkey or Italian, mild or spicy
1 onion diced
1 C diced red pepper or carrot
1 C celery diced
2-3 quarts chicken bone broth or stock
2 lb diced butternut squash
5 oz chopped kale
1/2 - 1 C heavy cream
Salt and pepper to taste
Sage, if you like
Garlic, if you like

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage. Add onion, peppers and celery. Cook for a few minutes until vegetables soften. Add broth, squash and kale. Cook until squash is softened. Add cream. Season to taste.
